Job Summary

Administer medications and document dosages and times of administration under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Monitor patients to report changes in their conditions, take vital signs, assist in examinations and treatments, and support patients with activities of daily living. Requires QMA certification, CPR certification, and a high school diploma. One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency, or correctional settings is preferred. Available full-time days or nights shifts, three per week, every other weekend. Compensation ranges from $18 to $25 per hour.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Graduation from a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) training program
  • QMA certification
  • Appropriate and active certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
  • Full-time employment
  • Availability for days or nights shifts, three shifts per week, every other weekend
  • Ability to work in an acute care, long-term care, emergency, or correctional setting
