Qualified Medical Aide QMA

Administer oral, PRN, inhaler, nebulizer, topical, rectal, nasal, eye, and ear medications under nurse supervision. Monitor residents for drug reactions and vital signs, calculate dosages, stock the medication cart, and document all treatments on the MAR chart. Report resident responses and concerns immediately to the nurse on duty. Safely lift, move, and transfer residents as required. Audit documentation for accuracy and participate in med pass audits. Attend mandatory meetings and in-services. Report to the Director of Nursing or Nurse on duty for instructions.
