Job Summary
Create Individual Program Plans for residents on caseload and oversee classroom schedules. Supervise caregivers regarding implementation of active treatment programming and documentation while maintaining facility compliance with IDPA/IDPH regulations. Monitor, implement, and change behavior programs and safety devices as necessary. Conduct weekly in-services for staff on goals, positioning, active treatment, and equipment. This full-time role includes Monday through Friday, 10AM to 6PM, with on-call rotation and is based at the Marklund Wasmond Center in Elgin, IL. You will contribute to a therapeutic day program serving adults with profound disabilities and special healthcare needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services field
- One year paid experience with developmentally disabled persons
- Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal forms
- DHS QIDP
