Job Summary
Support colleagues with delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage by engaging children in entertaining and educational activities that encourage development towards key milestones. Complete essential day-to-day tasks including room tidying and preparation while working as part of a larger team. Blend the flexibility of bank or agency work with the security of employee benefits within the Bright Flex / Bank team at Grove Lodge Day Nursery and Preschool.
Required Qualifications
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
- Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable
- Enhanced DBS check
