Job Summary
Provides care and supervision to patient groups in a unique treatment facility serving youth and families. Responsibilities include supervising patients, maintaining safety and structure, teaching problem solving, communication, socialization, emotional and life-management skills, ensuring professional boundaries, transporting patients as needed, documenting patient information and interventions, maintaining appropriate staff-to-patient ratios, and performing additional duties as assigned by supervisor; requires ability to restrain patients, pass TB testing, and operate within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver compassionate behavioral health care.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- Experience with emotionally disturbed youth preferred
- Good driving skills and a valid Arkansas driver’s license and eligibility for agency insurance required
- Paraprofessional certification is required within 30-90 days of employment with training provided on site
- Must be 21 years of age or older
