Job Summary
Qualified Baker needed to join the production team in our Moorabbin bakery. You will prove, score and bake bread loaves, hand-shape sourdoughs, baguettes and pretzels, and safely operate bakery equipment to maximize quality and efficiency. You’ll help meet production forecasts and ensure consistent product quality. Requirements include at least 1 year of sourdough bakery experience; experience on the oven section is highly regarded. This is a full-time, in-person role with early shifts starting around 3:30am and includes weekend and public holiday work. We offer on-the-job training, competitive salary with room for growth, and a friendly, professional team in a state-of-the-art production space.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in another sourdough bakery
- Prior experience on oven section preferred
- Must be able to work some weekends and Public Holidays
- 3am starts and early finishes
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and customer-focused mindset
