Job Summary
Author Army systems' detailed test plans and procedures derived from system requirements, defining objective success criteria and resource requirements to ensure comprehensive coverage of all operational scenarios. Draft, update, and maintain precise test cases, configuration logs, and formal test reports to establish clear traceability and support final system verification. Provide on-site support to lead, manage, and execute component, subsystem, and system-level qualification testing, including Environmental, EMI/EMC, E3, Road Reliability, Navigation Warfare, Safety, and Human Factors tests. Report findings by publishing Daily Status Reports with testing photographs for leadership. Identify potential Army system issues and defects by performing tests on the system's features. Duties include the ability to physically climb on top of military vehicles and weapon systems equipment. Requires a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD SECRET Security Clearance and 15 years of test and evaluation experience.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. or B.A. degree
- 15 years Test and Evaluation experience
- 5 years' experience in weapon system qualification testing
- Experience with evaluating systems to ensure they meet military standards (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- active DoD SECRET Security Clearance
- Must be able to travel up to 35% of the time
- Primarily CONUS travel
- OCONUS may be required
