Job Summary
Perform in-process, sampling, first article inspections, and final inspections on electromechanical LRUs and systems using tooling and checklists. Visually inspect electrical assemblies for specifications and standards while supporting dimensional checks for piece/part conditions. Interface with manufacturing operations and engineering to improve processes and documentation, and submit contract end items per PrOP & QAD requirements. Conduct ISO audits for site compliance and interface with customer and government personnel for in-process inspections and final pack/shipping. Submit contract end item product as required per PrOP & QAD.
Required Qualifications
- 6 years and a High School diploma or equivalent and related experience
- Minimum of 2 years Inspection experience
- SAP experience
- Quality inspection and electromechanical assembly experience
- Drawing review experience (ISE/CADSTAR)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Confidential clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability and willingness to work at both the Elkridge and Halethorpe sites, including driving between sites on some days
- This position is a 2nd shift position

- Experience interfacing with DoD customers
- Active Department of US Government Confidential clearance
