Job Summary
Oversee QTRC operations by coordinating at least three events per semester, hiring and onboarding staff, and managing internship volunteers while tracking service hours and collecting reflections. Maintain social media outlets, the referral database, and the library inventory, updating systems annually and promoting resources within the university community. Address basic inquiries via phone and in person, support marketing material design for outreach events, and submit monthly and annual reports to the Supervisor. This role supports the center's mission to celebrate student identities and foster a welcoming environment for the LGBTQQIA community at San Francisco State University.
Required Qualifications
- Current SFSU student enrolled in at least 6 units for undergraduates or 4 units for graduates.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge and understanding of LGBTQQIA culture.
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience in planning and coordinating events.
- Preferred queer and/or trans* emphasis in studies.
