Job Summary
Train team members in assembling and installing sub-assembly components for commercial HVAC products. Duties include working on an assembly line to ensure quality and productivity, serving as the primary contact for line issues, verifying proper assembly and installation of units and parts (e.g., EVAP coils, compressors, bases/posts, filter racks, blowers, condensers, control boards), and ensuring correct brazing and charging procedures. Responsible for training teammates to assemble efficiently to approved specifications, maintaining up-to-date unit schedules and procedures, scheduling production to meet targets, verifying work orders, and approving paperwork for sub-assemblies and end-of-line checks. Oversees QA procedures, enforces safety and housekeeping standards, inspects blueprints, communicates with management, and provides production backup. Requires leadership ability to motivate teams, adapt to multiple teams, and assist with problem-solving. Must meet physical demands and be able to communicate in English. Education beyond the minimum is an added advantage. The role is based in Longview, TX, with the company AAON, and involves working with sheet metal components and mechanical parts in a manufacturing environment.
