Job Summary
Oversee daily fleet operations, including vehicle utilization, taxi booking services, and transport logistics for field teams. Coordinate driver scheduling, manage relationships with service providers and garages, and ensure full compliance with Kenyan traffic laws and safety regulations. Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance schedules, and driver performance to optimize costs and efficiency. Develop and manage fleet budgets while maintaining accurate records and reporting dashboards for internal stakeholders. Conduct regular safety audits, investigate incidents, and liaise with procurement and finance teams to ensure operational requirements are met.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in fleet management or transport operations
- Strong understanding of financial terms and principles with the ability to analyze and conduct complex financial and business decisions
- Basic knowledge and understanding of common terms and components related to fleet management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of fleet management systems and reporting tools
- Understanding of NTSA regulations, insurance requirements, and traffic laws
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
