Job Summary
A Line Cook transforms high-quality, unique ingredients into authentic Italian dishes through preparing, cooking and plating in Eataly’s high-volume, open kitchens. Reports to the Chef de Cuisine. Responsibilities include weights/holding temperatures, slicing and preparing meats, seafood, vegetables, and cheeses; frying and sautéing; plate items with appropriate garnish; follow recipes and maintain portion sizes, quality standards, and health regulations. Requires 2+ years in a food prep role; culinary arts degree preferred. Must be available to work onsite with a flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays); able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for up to 8 hours; proficient with commercial equipment (stand mixers, ovens, torches). Compensation: $17-$20 per hour. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, retirement plan, and other perks.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years in a food preparation position
- Degree from a culinary arts training program preferred
