QNX Senior Manager, IDE & Tools Team

Job Summary
Lead a high-performing engineering team in designing, developing, and verifying QNX's IDE-based tools and device-side services. Drive innovation by updating existing tooling and producing new solutions that exceed customer expectations while ensuring high-quality design and maintenance. Clarify customer requirements, develop Tool Qualification analysis for ISO 26262 and ISO 21437 standards, and oversee software specifications and designs. Review technical design and code through sign-off, manage unit test implementations, and resolve complex software issues. Foster a culture of engineering excellence, mentor talent, and strengthen cross-functional collaboration with Product Management, Architecture, QA, and other teams.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences

- High initiative, enthusiasm, and a strong desire to learn and grow
- Extensive experience in embedded software development (in C) or in a tools development environment (Java/ISE's)
- Strong foundation in Safety (ISO 26262) and Security (ISO 21434) standards
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional user experiences with a focus on simplicity and usability
