Job Summary
QMS Engineer responsible for building a QMS architecture, establishing quality system documents (including quality manual), organizing internal quality system audits and management reviews, coordinating with third-party certification agencies, leading certification audits, identifying trends and preventive measures, organizing root cause analysis and CAPA verification, and developing standard inspection guidelines to ensure conformance with customer requirements and factory standards. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, maintaining records of quality activities, tracking industry best practices, and driving process optimization in a manufacturing/battery-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in quality engineering in manufacturing environment
- Experience with APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, MSA
- Preference for battery or automotive battery industry experience
- Proficient with quality tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, MSA); familiarity with VDA6.3
