Job Summary
Conduct examinations of the Quality Management System, HSE, Ethics & Compliance, and related procedures to ensure effectiveness and observe continuous improvement. Perform audits based on ISO9000, AS9100, or AS9003 standards while identifying major and minor findings. Report observations directly to the customer via web application and manage the initiation, review, and approval of corrective action responses. Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions. Requires at least five external audits in the past year, recognized lead auditor certification, special processes experience, and proficiency in Root Cause Analysis tools.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of at least five external audits in the past year to the ISO9001 or AS9100 standard
- Completion of QMS auditor training course with a recognized lead auditor Certification (RAB or ASQ Certified Quality Auditor)
- Must have special processes experiences (e.g Fabrication, machining, foundry, etc)
- Knowledge and experience using structured Root Cause Analysis tools and techniques like 8D, five whys and DMAIC
- Good writing and communication skills
- Must have proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word and Excel
