Job Summary
Conduct examinations of the Quality Management System, HSE, Ethics & Compliance, and related procedures to ensure effectiveness and observe continuous improvement. Perform audits based on ISO9000, AS9100, or AS9003 standards, identifying major and minor findings to report directly to the customer via web application. Initiate, review, and approve corrective action responses while evaluating the effectiveness of implemented actions. Requires at least five external audits in the past year, recognized lead auditor certification, proficiency in root cause analysis tools, and strong writing and computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- ISO9001 Certified Lead Auditor
- Perform examination of the Quality Management System (QMS), HSE, Ethics & Compliance and its various elements and procedures
- Perform audits based on the latest ISO9000 standard
- Ability to identify major findings, minor findings, observations, and report information directly to the customer via web application
- Experience initiating, reviewing and approval of corrective action responses and evaluate effectiveness of implemented corrective action(s)
- Successful completion of at least five external audits in the past year to the ISO9001 or AS9100 standard
- Completion of QMS auditor training course with a recognized lead auditor Certification (RAB or ASQ Certified Quality Auditor)
- Knowledge and experience using structured Root Cause Analysis tools and techniques like 8D, five whys and DMAIC
- Good writing and communication skills
- Must have proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word and Excel
