Job Summary
Deliver in-home, in-school, and virtual behavioral mental health services while providing therapeutic interventions to enhance client functioning and social skills. Assist clients in restoring daily living abilities, managing psychiatric symptoms, and identifying triggers that lead to functional impairments. Complete CANS/ANSA assessments, update treatment plans, and maintain organized caseloads to meet productivity expectations. Provide crisis intervention services as needed and communicate client status regarding mood, medical issues, and safety concerns. Document services regularly in accordance with State of Texas guidelines and attend weekly staff meetings for consultation and training. Maintain an insured vehicle and access to a computer for community and home-based service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum number of hours that is equivalent to a major in psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human growth and development, physician assistant, gerontology, special education, educational psychology, early childhood education, or early childhood intervention
- Must have insured vehicle, cell phone and access to a computer/laptop outside of office use
- Bachelor's
- Must be able to work evenings and Saturdays based on caseload needs
- Must serve clients south of San Antonio (such as Uvalde, LaPryor, Hondo, etc) OR north of San Antonio (such as New Braunfels, Belverde)
