Job Summary
Administer medications per physician orders using the six rights of medication administration; provide routine resident care; perform vital signs; maintain secure medication handling and double-locking of controlled drugs; reorder medications and report refusals; document medication errors; respect resident rights and communicate concerns; assist with activities of daily living and dining; document care using supervisor-provided systems; observe resident changes and report to supervisor; assist with admissions, discharges and transfers; maintain clean, organized resident areas; support activities and events; ensure safety protocols and confidentiality; participate in team communications; ability to lift up to 30 lbs; full-time 40 hours/week; located in Cortez, CO; bilingual a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Training and designation as Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP) through a program approved by the State of Colorado Department of Health
- Read, write, speak and understand the English language
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook
