Job Summary
Administer resident medication, assist with self-administration, and coordinate treatments while tracking vital signs, weight, and diabetic testing. Observe residents for condition changes, document care updates using company forms, and log pharmacy medications against physician orders. Perform ambulation, general activities, and insulin injections where permitted, while ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining resident dignity. Assist resident assistants, track supply needs, and participate in wellness programs. Full-time Sunday-Thursday 2pm-10pm shift at $21-23/hr plus $1.50 diff. Requires First Aid/CPR, state medication certification, and high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Must be 21 years of age (or meet state requirements)
- Have current First Aid and CPR certification
- Have completed the required training, and/or certification (according to state) for assisting with medications
- Must be knowledgeable of pertinent regulations with monitoring and licensing of the residence
- Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Successfully passing a drug screen
- Successfully passing a TB test
- Successfully passing a Background check
- Successfully passing a Physical Exam
Desired Qualifications
- Nursing Assistant course (State approved, if required)
