Job Summary
Observe residents for condition changes and report to Care Services Director, Resident Care Coordinator, or physician. Assist with activities of daily living, medication administration, and vital signs tracking including weight, diabetic testing, and insulin injections. Document care changes using company forms, log pharmacy medications, and verify physician orders while tracking supplies and re-ordering as needed. Perform ambulation, general activities, and resident-centered wellness programs while maintaining regulatory compliance and personal safety standards. Work full-time Sunday-Thursday 2pm-10pm at $21.00-23.00/hr with a $1.50 shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Must be 21 years of age (or meet state requirements)
- Have current First Aid and CPR certification
- Have completed the required training, and/or certification (according to state) for assisting with medications
- Must be knowledgeable of pertinent regulations with monitoring and licensing of the residence
- Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Successfully passing a drug screen
- Successfully passing a TB test
- Successfully passing a Background check
- Successfully passing a Physical Exam
Desired Qualifications
- Nursing Assistant course (State approved, if required)
