Job Summary
As a QMAP with KARE, you will provide medication administration and treatment assistance to residents according to health care provider orders, supervise self-administration of medication, maintain resident records, and assist residents with daily living activities as needed. The role requires a QMAP Certificate, physical ability to lift heavy weights, fluency in English, and possibly experience with residents with memory impairment.
Required Qualifications
- Requires a QMAP Certificate.
- Ability to lift at least 51 lbs on a regular basis and ability to help residents who require physical assistance.
- Fluently read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- May require experience with caring for residents with memory impairment if assigned to memory care areas of a community.
