QMA - Qualified Medication Aide

Set up, administer, and record prescribed medications for residents under licensed nurse supervision while strictly adhering to the five rights of medication administration. Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed and properly label, store, receive, and destroy medication per company policy. Perform accurate medication charting as directed by the Nurse Supervisor or Charge Nurse. Maintain state certification as a Qualified Medication Aide or Certified Medication Aide with a valid CNA certification in good standing. 0-1 years of relevant experience preferred.
