Job Summary
QMA role providing quality care and assistance with activities of daily living for residents, administering prescribed medications within scope of practice, maintaining policies and procedures, reporting care concerns to RN/LPN or HCD, performing housekeeping and dining-related tasks, assisting residents to and from meals/activities, documenting in the EMAR/MAR Daily Log, and contributing to a positive, professional nursing team within Harmony Senior Services’ assisted living and memory care communities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- completed Medication Aide Course
- current CNA and Med Tech license from the State Board of Nursing in good standing
- pass 2 medication observations annually
- pass all medication cart audits
- attend 4 additional hours of medication administration education annually
- CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to become certified within 60 days of hire
