Job Summary
Administer and document oral, eye, topical, suppository, and ear medications as ordered by physicians. Perform treatments for minor skin conditions, maintain locked medication carts and keys per policy, and provide frequent catheter care. Document all treatments in medication records and nurse notes while maintaining resident confidentiality and privacy. Ensure resident safety, health needs, and comfort through daily care. Requires Indiana CNA certification, state-approved medication training, and current QMA certification. Competitive starting wage with $3 shift differential, daily pay, and benefits including 401k, tuition reimbursement, and health insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Must be certified by the Indiana State Department of Health as a CNA in good standing
- Must have completed a state approved training program in medication administration and have current QMA certification by the Indiana State Department of Health
- Have a thorough understanding of the principles of safe effective nursing practices within the State of Indiana
- A high school diploma or GED
