Job Summary
QM Associate Scientist will perform QC testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products in a regulated environment, handle hazardous materials, and may perform TB-related tests in BSL-3 containment. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, documenting results in SAP, investigating out-of-specification results, contributing to SOP development, ensuring GMP/GDP/GLP compliance, and collaborating with manufacturing and scientific operations. The role spans multiple QC labs with potential in-office work and emphasizes adherence to safety policies, proper PPE usage, and continuous quality improvement within a fast-paced life-sciences setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology or other related Life Science preferred
- Minimum of laboratory related certificate from accredited institution required
- Minimum of one year practical experience in Microbiological or medical technology laboratory preferred
