Job Summary

Inspect parts from manufacturing and outside services to ensure they meet/exceed customer standards. Audit quality of production during all phases of manufacture; perform first piece, in-progress, and final inspections of machined parts. Calibrate gauges and keep records using Gage Track software; develop in-process and final inspection reports; interpret various drawing specifications (including GD&T); collaborate with engineers to develop processes and with manufacturing on continuous improvement; ensure timely, precise documentation; familiarity with AS9100 and ISO9001:2000 standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience performing Quality Inspector responsibilities
  • Experience with quality control techniques and methods
  • Experience with standard measuring devices
  • Ability to read blueprints and drawings including GD&T
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must be able to multitask while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Internal Auditing experience is a plus
