Job Summary
Oversee program managers and assist the Area Director in maintaining high-quality standards across Chrysalis initiatives. Coordinate critical relationships between schools, state workers, families, therapists, courts, and residential placements to ensure appropriate support and foster independence. Manage personnel and program issues while developing effective person-centered plans and goals for individuals. Prioritize work, complete assigned program documentation accurately within time frames, and handle crisis situations with good judgment. Continually improve program quality and profitability while applying Chrysalis Values of Respect, Safety, Fun, Mentoring, and Accountability. Requires a Bachelor's in Human Services, supervisory experience, and strong public relations skills for working with diverse medical and state professionals.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- Bachelor's Degree in the Human Services field
- 1 year experience in the field or related field
- Capable of communicating well in both verbal and written form
- Demonstrated supervisory skills
- Ability to prioritize work
- Able to complete all assigned program documentation accurately and within the allotted time frames
- Have good public relations skills in working with a variety of outside professional and state employees
- Able to effectively manage personnel and program issues
- Continual improve the quality and profitability of the program
- Have 2 years experience in the human service field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience and/or equivalent education in working with handicapped individuals
- Knowledge of person centered plans and ability to develop and write effective goals
- Experience in supervising employees
- Have good judgment and able to handle crisis situations
- Have good general writing skills and can articulate oneself on a variety of issues
- Able to understand and manage personnel issues and deal with staff in a positive manner
- Computer skills
- Have good public relations skills in working with a variety of medical, professional and state employees
- Need to have a flexible schedule to accommodate people's needs
