Job Summary
Conduct daily package deliveries in the Western Shawnee and Lenexa areas using a well-maintained FedEx Ground vehicle. Begin each shift at the terminal between 7:30 and 8:00 am, complete pre-trip inspections, and ensure efficient loading before driving to the delivery zone. Manage GPS systems, adhere to safety and DOT regulations, and handle packages up to 150 lbs with assistance when needed. Return the truck to the terminal by 5:00 or 5:30 pm. This full-time or part-time day shift role offers competitive pay, including bonuses and PTO, with paid training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a Driver's License
- Must be able to pass a background check (no felony or misdemeanor), no DUI's, drug test (No MJ, nor MJ prescriptions not allowed per DOT), and DOT physical
- Must be reliable
- Must have a positive attitude
- Must have good communication
- Must have customer service
- Must have decision-making skills
- Must have high initiative
- Must be able to lift packages up to 150lbs
- Must be able to bend at the knees
- Must be able to work in the KS weather
- Must be flexible in effort to overcome challenges
- Must agree that resume information is current, true, and accurate to the best of your knowledge
