Job Summary
Conduct site inspections and audits to identify risks and improvement opportunities while ensuring adherence to safety standards and client expectations. Support implementation of business growth strategies through operational and safety practices, including pre-planning requirements like operator qualifications and safety training. Participate in hazard identification, root cause analysis for incidents, and corrective action implementation. Track QHSE performance metrics, maintain ISO-related Business Management Systems, and promote a strong safety culture across projects. Travel extensively to job sites in office, shop, and field environments to provide field-level QHSE support.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5+ years of experience in a QHSE or safety advisory role (industrial, construction, or oil & gas preferred)
- Experience supporting compliance programs and field operations
- CRSP, CSP, NCSO, NEBOSH, or equivalent
- First Aid / CPR Certification
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to influence and support teams without direct authority
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and industry standards
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting tools
- Frequent travel to project sites required
- Must be willing to be away from home for extended periods
- Ability to safely access and inspect work sites
