Job Summary
Lead the site's Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety strategy, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and ISO management systems. Deliver training, coaching, and guidance to operational teams while investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses to implement corrective actions. Monitor and report key performance metrics, develop improvement plans, and champion Lean initiatives to drive operational excellence. Maintain quality documentation, manage the Quality Management System, and analyze customer and operational data to support decision-making. Act as an ambassador for DP World, promoting safety standards and a culture of continuous improvement across all shifts.
Required Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety management role
- Strong knowledge of Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety management systems, including ISO standards
- Experience investigating incidents, analysing data, and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions
- Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including PFMEA, process control plans, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement techniques
- Experience leading teams, coaching colleagues, and influencing stakeholders across operational environments
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and produce meaningful reports and performance metrics
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance
