Job Summary
QE Engineer responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions, performing root-cause analysis, monitoring quality performance, and inspecting/testing materials and processes to ensure adherence to quality specifications. Key duties include product line qualification testing, ORT test management and records, PFMEA verification, abnormal quality control, and adherence to ISO 9001/IATF 16949 standards, with an emphasis on data analysis, use of Minitab, and leadership of engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in product engineering, including hands-on involvement in product design, development, testing, and manufacturing processes.
- Supervisory or Team Leadership Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role, overseeing a team of engineers or technicians.
- Technical Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of relevant technical areas such as electrical or mechanical engineering, Minitab software, regulatory standards ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and manufacturing processes.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to identify complex technical issues, analyze root causes, and develop effective solutions.
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with quality management software and other relevant tools.
- Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of industry standards and regulations to ensure products meet all necessary requirements.
- Communication and Leadership: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership abilities to drive quality initiatives.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
