Job Summary
Senior QCS Field Service Technician responsible for supporting the full lifecycle of ABB pulp-and-paper quality control products at customer facilities, including preventive and corrective maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and assisting with projects, upgrades, and new installations. Work is onsite with a small site team and mentoring/guide less experienced technicians; communicates effectively with plant operators, management, and vendors; handles customer questions about ABB systems and participates in contract management and renewals. Proficient in electrical theory, electrical safety, and maintaining the ABB quality control solution at the customer site.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in field relating to instrumentation & control, electrical engineering technology, electronics, instrumentation or process control
- 8 years of industry specific experience on ABB pulp and paper quality control products, or equivalent
- Good understanding of electrical theory and electrical safety
