QC Technician

Job Summary
Perform Quality Control testing on asphalt and aggregate materials by collecting, preparing, and evaluating samples up to 50 lbs. Inspect truck beds and materials for quality and compliance, then mix and match product colors to customer specifications. Maintain a clean, organized laboratory and complete required documentation while assisting with additional plant duties as needed. This hands-on role involves indoor lab and outdoor work in a safety-focused environment with exposure to varying weather conditions. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
- Able to shovel dense or wet material when necessary
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail
- Communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible to work extended hours during peak production seasons
