QC Technician

Job Summary
Conduct surveillance tests and evaluations of sealants, arranging samples and communicating with manufacturers for full conformance testing. Prepare test reports, certify results, and release products for shipment while managing incoming material testing, process testing, and analysis. Maintain laboratory equipment inventory, perform color matching using spectrophotometers, and execute preventive maintenance and calibrations. Support the Quality Manager on process audits, complaint investigations, and the creation of new quality management system procedures. Adhere to safety rules, risk assessments, and 5S housekeeping standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Higher NITEC/NITEC in chemical science or chemical engineering, chemistry/chemical process technology or science-related disciplines
- Minimum 1 year work experience in aerospace/Chemical-related industry or Laboratory environment
- No colour blindness
- Proficient in MS Office application
- Good report writing skills
- Record maintenance skills
- High energy level
- Initiative
- Team player
