QC Technician (Micro)

Job Summary
Perform microbiological procedures including Total Viable Counts, Growth Promotion, Gram Stain, Microbial Growth Check, and Endotoxin testing for raw materials, intermediate, and final product samples according to defined SOPs. Conduct in-operation and at-rest environmental monitoring of cleanrooms and support areas to ensure Facility Contamination Control (FCC) compliance. Write QMS documentation such as SOPs, deviations, change controls, and CAPAs while maintaining databases, logs, and QC trend data. Ensure the QC laboratory remains clean, tidy, and ready for continuous inspection. Adhere strictly to GMP guidelines, regulatory requirements, and HSE standards. Full compliance with GMP, regulatory body, and HSE requirements is mandatory. Shift work and out-of-hours work as required.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Microbiology or related subject or relevant experience
- Demonstrable experience working in a GMP environment
- Good Aseptic Technique
- Experience of Quality Management Systems
- Shift work and out of hours work as required
