Job Summary
Control the release of raw materials for TPU production and perform routine laboratory analysis for melt volume ratio, melt index, and tensile testing. Assist production with on-line quality control, investigate customer complaints, and manage the Ringwood Quality System. Ensure all activities comply with EHS rules and ISO 9001:2015 requirements while maintaining accurate records and performing equipment calibration. Participate in internal and external audits and maintain adequate reagent stocks. Work a 12-hour day shift with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree or higher in Chemistry, Science, Process Technology
- Minimum 3 years of experience in TPU manufacturing, laboratory, or quality control in chemical manufacturing
- Proficient computer skills including: Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Excellent communication skills; both oral and written
- Literate and experienced with ISO 9001:2015
- Willing / able to work 12-hour day shift schedule and additional overtime as needed
- Able to bend, stoop, lift 30 lbs, climb stairs and ladders, balance, and stand for long periods of time
Desired Qualifications
- SAP experience preferred
