QC Technician II - Wayne, NJ

Quality Control Technician II performs acceptance testing and inspections on in-process and finished goods in a regulated manufacturing environment, documents results, and supports quality system compliance. Responsibilities include functional acceptance testing, independent review of shop floor paperwork, identifying non-conforming materials, accurate data recording, training inspectors, prioritizing daily work, participating in quality discussions, serving as final quality checkpoint for product release to ensure patient safety, applying critical thinking to evaluate product quality, collecting SPC data and performing routine data trending, escalating risks to Quality Management, and supporting a transition toward proactive defect prevention. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (associate/bachelor preferred) and a minimum of 2 years in quality or related experience, with FDA-regulated environment and medical device experience preferred; experience with Instron testing and SAP/Microsoft Office is a plus.
