QC Technician II (IQC) - First Shift

First Shift QC Technician II (IQC) performs wet chemical analyses per internal and compendial methodologies (USP, EP, ACS) on raw materials (salts, sugars, amino acids, vitamins, etc.), and conducts physical inspection and documentation review of incoming manufacturing components within a GMP environment. The role requires strong organizational skills, ability to work independently in a high-paced team, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in cold room/freezers (-22°F/-6°C) with PPE. Education includes High School Diploma required; AAS or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related sciences preferred. The position supports Thermo Fisher Scientific’s BioProduction operations, with exposure to quality systems, documentation, and analytical testing in a cGMP setting.
