QC Tech II

Job Summary
Execute site-specific quality control programs by applying Standard Operating Procedures, reviewing project designs, and managing quality control inspections. Identify and track non-conformance materials or results, then assist with remediation and close out incomplete issues. Upload inspection photos to the QC software platform and ensure all records are accurate and submitted per contract requirements. Cultivate safety as a core value while supporting the corporate safety program and assisting site management with RFIs and submittals. Work in dynamic field environments, frequently traveling and working outside regular hours in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years solar electrical experience
- Experience with electrical testing procedures and digital documentation
- Familiar with AHJ standards and NEC code
- Understands how to read and interpret plans, specifications, and equipment standards
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements in the relevant industry
- Good computer skills including proficiency in industry standard software programs and proficiency in using technology and software systems for quality management
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in dynamic field environments
- Willingness to frequently travel and work outside of regular business hours
- Possess a valid US driver's license
- Site Based - Full Time Travel Required
- Remain outside for multiple hours in hot or cold weather at construction sites
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, tools, and equipment (up to 50 pounds or more)
- Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain
- Endurance to perform physical tasks throughout the workday, including bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
- Agility and flexibility to navigate construction sites and access work areas, including climbing ladders and scaffolding
- Must be able to position one-self to work in confined spaces such as trenches, pits, manholes, and tunnels
- Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination
Desired Qualifications
- NFPA 70E Certification preferred
