QC Tech II

Job Summary
Quality Tech II analyzes process samples and performs non-routine analysis to ensure quality of finished goods and raw materials. Performs in-process testing, finished goods, returned goods, and stability testing for internal and external customers; reports results promptly using approved procedures and proper lab techniques. Maintains accurate records, troubleshoots instrumentation, prepares standards and reagents, prioritizes workload for internal/external needs, and participates in a 5S workplace and training activities. Works in a rotating 12-hour shift and collaborates with teammates to solve plant problems and implement improvements in a team environment. Must demonstrate strong mathematical, analytical, and color-vision abilities and comply with laboratory procedures, safety guidelines, and confidentiality requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associates of Science (AS) or Bachelor of Science (BS) or equivalent life science degree preferred
- 1 – 3 years laboratory experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing operation preferred
- Experience with cGMP is a plus
- Ability to differentiate colors (Ishihara test)
- Rotating 12-hour shift schedule (7pm-7am or 7am-7pm)
