Job Summary
Oversee quality control on bottling lines and inspect packaging materials to ensure alignment with production schedules and industry standards. Conduct hazard analyses, audit bottling lines for product and compliance issues, and validate product specifications while measuring production efficiencies. Prepare reports, maintain records, and enter data related to glass consumption. Collaborate with QC and production teams to improve manufacturing methods and resolve equipment calibration issues. Work independently with flexibility for occasional weekends and extended shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the QC and production teams
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to carry up to 50 pounds over moderate distances
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods (8+ hours per day)
- Must be able to work independently
- Be flexible with work hours, including occasional weekends
- Shift: Tuesday - Friday, 3:00 pm - 1:30 am
Desired Qualifications
- Solid winery experience (e.g., QC/Production) preferred
- Knowledge of wine and packaging analysis principles and practices
- Experience with ISO 9001
- Experience with Microsoft NAV
- Strong attention to detail
- Analytical skills
- Ability to create and enforce high standards
- Ability to multitask and shift priorities effectively
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and research skills
