Job Summary
The QC Specialist - Data Specialist role focuses on evaluating learners' technical proficiency in data engineering, analytics, and cloud data platforms. Responsibilities include designing and executing quality audit frameworks for training programs, conducting technical interviews on SQL and data engineering principles, and developing assessments for learners. The specialist must possess strong SQL skills, knowledge in Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BI, as well as familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines and best practices in data warehousing. Effective communication and the ability to provide actionable feedback are crucial for enhancing learner development.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or comparable technical role
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data analysis
- Good understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines, DataOps, and data warehousing best practices
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, and coaching abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BI
- Experience with Tableau or Spark is an added advantage
- Familiarity with Python or R for scripting, data validation, or analysis
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
