QC Specialist - Counterfeit Detection Lab

Job Summary
Verify electronic and non-electronic components visually using microscopic equipment and alcohol swipe tests to detect black-topped parts or red flags. Utilize proprietary systems to complete detailed inspections, upload documentation, and ensure all PO/SO requirements are met. Operate and maintain analytical instruments including XRF, X-ray, and microscopy to perform tests such as bondpull, decapsulation, and solderability. Communicate discrepancies to management and monitor lab operation and test turnaround times. Provide timely reports and ad hoc departmental support. Requires 3+ years in component inspection and counterfeit detection.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years component or product inspection, testing, counterfeit detection
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Multi-tasking and organization skills
- Minimum 1 year warehouse experience
- Ability to lift 35lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of the electronics distribution field
- College or technical institute degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or related filed
- A+ Certification
- CCI 102 Levels 1 and 2
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
