Job Summary
Laboratory Quality Specialist I evaluates laboratory data for compliance with analytical methods and SOPs, reviews sample results for completeness and accuracy, and prepares QC statements noting deficiencies. Role involves communicating with laboratory staff to address quality of documentation, and may require travel domestically and internationally; requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 0–2 years of experience. Based in Suzhou, China at Thermo Fisher Scientific’s laboratory environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
- 0 to 2 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience
- Knowledge of SOPs and Federal Regulations to include GLP
- Knowledge of chromatography and divisional SOPs
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to deal with multiple and changing priorities
- Ability to provide clear and concise feedback and/or documentation of results
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
