QC/QA Manager - Construction

Job Summary
Develop and maintain QA/QC standards for the division and project-level requirements, ensuring work meets contractual specifications. Review project specifications for code compliance and constructability, then conduct field observations of all MEP systems to verify adherence to approved plans and documents. Prepare periodic quality control reports for management, organize preparatory meetings prior to field work, and direct corrective actions for identified deficiencies. Partner with coordination teams to ensure accurate installation and as-built drawings. Maintain records and correspondence relative to QA/QC activities while monitoring work status against the latest contract documents. This role supports Synerfac's design-build projects with a focus on standardizing specifications and ensuring system compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of QA/QC experience in the construction industry
- 3+ years of managerial experience, overseeing a team
- Experience in reading technical documents, drawings and / or schematics
- Experience auditing systems, processes, products both internally and externally
- Experience in working with Quality Management Systems
- Understanding and working knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and controls systems, along with general construction knowledge
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction or related field preferred or applicable experience
