QC Microbiology Technician

Job Summary
Performs environmental and biocontainment monitoring, product and lab testing (bioburden, sterility, and endotoxin testing), and bioprocess support (pre-inoculation bioburden, in-process fermentation, and in-process and final bioburden screening) in a 12-hour shift manufacturing environment; maintains laboratory operations, reagents, media performance testing, equipment calibration, and data/records; supports safe, compliant lab practices around chemicals and biohazards in a pharmaceutical setting; collaborates with team to meet product-related quality and environmental monitoring requirements.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in biological science preferred or equivalent experience
- One to two (2) years laboratory experience
- Pharmaceutical Industry experience preferred
- Must work around chemicals, bacteria, biohazards, and dust
- Must be able to work 12 hour shifts
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
