QC Microbiologist I - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Conduct sampling and testing of production environments and facility clean utilities per approved procedures. Perform routine environmental monitoring of classified clean rooms, gown qualify during manufacturing operations, and sample water for injection and clean steam systems. Write and execute protocols, SOPs, and experiments under limited supervision while reviewing peer work and document changes. Assist senior staff in investigations, reports, and complex protocols; perform visual inspections of media fill vials and plates. Train staff in routine processes and maintain general lab housekeeping. 2nd Shift hours from 4PM to 12:30AM with eligibility for a 10% pay differential.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma, GED, or equivalent credential
- 3-5 years' experience in a cGMP environment
- Ability to gown to work in an ISO-5 environment
- Ability to work varied hours as required by the production schedule
Desired Qualifications
- AS degree or BS degree in Microbiology or related scientific field
