Job Summary
QC Microbiology Technician responsible for performing routine and non-routine microbiological tests on raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and environmental samples to ensure compliance with cGMP and internal quality standards. Responsibilities include bioburden, sterility, endotoxin testing, microbial identification, and environmental monitoring (air, surface, water); media preparation, sterilization, and growth promotion testing; operating, maintaining, and calibrating lab equipment (incubators, autoclaves, microscopes, spectrophotometers); documenting procedures and results per good documentation practices; interpreting results, investigating out-of-specification (OOS) results, and participating in CAPAs and OOS investigations; contributing to environmental monitoring programs, audits support, and development/validation of test methods; maintaining a clean, compliant laboratory workspace and adhering to cGMP guidelines.
