Job Summary
QC Laboratory Manager leads the laboratory team to ensure batch release and stability testing are completed on time and in full compliance with Vantive QMS, while upholding GMP/GLP/GDP standards. The role drives continuous improvement, 6S/Visual Management, and KPI-driven performance, and oversees quality systems activities including LIR, Change Control, NCR/CAPA, and Internal Audits. Requires a science degree and strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. The position is based in Liverpool, UK with in-person laboratory leadership responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related discipline
- Strong understanding of GMP / GLP / GDP requirements
- Laboratory operations and quality systems
- Leadership and team management skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Communication and stakeholder management skills
