QC Manager

Quality Control Manager leads and organises the QC department at a site-based operation in Belgium (Verviers) to ensure efficient operations and timely release of finished products and raw materials, supervising a team of 15–20 technicians. Responsibilities include overseeing analytical testing activities (method performance, validation, data recording, and trend analysis), managing and developing the QC training program, supervising QC reviews and approvals prior to QA release (including OOS investigations and CAPA implementation), overseeing change controls, equipment maintenance, calibration, non-conformance management, managing relationships with subcontracted laboratories, and monitoring QC metrics. The role emphasizes strong technical guidance, autonomy in investigations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, with focus on GMP/ISO compliance and leadership to develop staff through mentoring and SOP updates. English and French fluency, a relevant science degree, and prior leadership in QC settings are required; SAP/TrackWise experience is advantageous.
